SPECIAL COLLECTIONS -Archival Rare Book Collection that includes a facsimilie edition of the Book of Kells, Lindisfarne, Annals of Ireland and the Chief O'Neill musical anthologies -Genealogy Collection, plus ongoing free genealogy sessions -Dennis Watson Musical Collection of CDs and Sheet Music from 1850 to 1950 -Eileen McNulty Poetry Collection from Kennys in Galway -Emmett Larkin Collection on the Church of Ireland The Fifth Province Pub at the IAHC The pub is open every Thursday night through Saturday evenings. Selected Saturday afternoons from 5-7PM beginning January 7: Píobairí, a presentation of uilleann piping and traditional music by Pat Cannady, his piping students, and musical colleagues returns to the Fifth Province pub in 2012. Come and sample the pub menu and enjoy the music. Dates are: January 7, February 4, February 18, March 3, April 7, May 5, June 2 and June 16 Saturday-6pm-12:30pm. |
